10 de may. de 2024 · Frederick VIII (born June 3, 1843, Copenhagen—died May 14, 1912, Hamburg) was the king of Denmark in 1906–12. Frederick served in the disastrous Danish–German War of 1864, which lost the duchies of Schleswig, Holstein, and Lauenburg for Denmark. He then assisted his father, Christian IX, in affairs of state.

10 de may. de 2024 · Adolf Frederick was the king of Sweden from 1751 to 1771. He was the son of Christian Augustus, Duke of Schleswig-Holstein-Gottorp, and of Albertina Frederica of Baden-Durlach. While Adolf Frederick was bishop of Lübeck (1727–50), he administered Holstein-Kiel (1739–45) during the minority of Duke.
2 de may. de 2024 · Frederik had been born in 1808 as child of Christian VIII and Charlotte Friederike zu Mecklenburg-Schwerin, who divorced only two years later. When his father died in 1848, Frederik as Frederik VII, succeeded to the throne.
