The Gonzaga Family dominated the city for long time (about 400 years) and therefore put their stamp on most of the city.

Habiendo sido el primogénito de un noble linaje, su destino a la guerra parecía que hubiera sido ya predeterminado. Su padre, el marqués Ferrante, estaba convencido de ello y por eso lo ejercitó en el uso de las armas y las armaduras.

Head across around sunset and watch the city transform from day to night. Now, it’s easily walkable but if you do have a car you can park up in the park that’s right next to Rocca di Sparafucile.
