26 de may. de 2024 · One of the most significant episodes in Kidwelly‘s early history came in 1159 when the legendary Welsh ruler Lord Rhys captured the castle from its Norman overlords. Rhys, also known as Rhys ap Gruffydd, was a key figure in the Welsh resistance against Norman encroachment.
