He was born in the United Kingdom to the prominent Battenberg family.
2 de may. de 2024 · In the grounds to the south of the Mausoleum of Victoria and Albert one can find the Frogmore Royal Burial Ground where several family members have been (re)buried since 1928. A full list can be found here. Burials here include the Duke and Duchess of Windsor. The house now. In the 1980s the house was extensively restored and redecorated.
21 de may. de 2024 · Albert's funeral was held on 23 December 1861 at St George's Chapel, Windsor Castle. [120] His body was temporarily entombed in the chapel's Royal Vault. [121] [122] A year after his death, his remains were deposited at the Royal Mausoleum, Frogmore, which remained incomplete until 1871. [123]
