Hace 2 días · Hamo de Crevequer was Sheriff of Kent in the reign of king William the Conqueror, and is frequently mentioned as such in the book of Domesday, under the denomination of Hamo vice comes, and in many deeds and writings of that time, under that of Hamo dapifer, i. e. the king's seneschal or steward.
