Hace 1 día · In 1591 the queen leased the manor to Henry Maynard, who sold his interest to Sir Nicholas Overbury in 1598. He settled it on his son Sir Giles, who died in 1654 and was succeeded by his son Thomas. In 1679 Sir Thomas Overbury sold the manor to Lord Brooke.
