15 de may. de 2024 · Trinity College has established an annual lecture series to bring scholars and writers to Cambridge, with a particular focus on voices from Asia, the Middle East, Africa and South America. The Trinity Global Humanities Lecture Series is a collaboration with the Global Humanities Initiative at Cambridge’s School of Arts and Humanities.
19 de may. de 2024 · In 1546 Henry VIII founded Trinity College (which was and still remains the largest of the Cambridge colleges). In 1570 Elizabeth I gave the university a revised body of statutes, and in 1571 the university was formally incorporated by act of Parliament.
