The Venetians abandoned the Siege of Gradisca on 22 September, but peace was restored only in early 1618, after Ferdinand agreed to resettle the Uskoks from the coastline and ordered the destruction of their ships.

Wallenstein found himself relieved from his command and then reinstated. All the while, young Ferdinand was campaigning to run the army.
30 de abr. de 2024 · Together with Albrecht von Wallenstein, commander of Emperor Ferdinand II’s army, he occupied the Jutland peninsula and forced Christian to make an ignominious peace at Lübeck (July 7, 1629). The following year Ferdinand dismissed Wallenstein, and Tilly assumed command of the imperial as well as the league forces.
