6 de may. de 2024 · Alexander Ramsay, first UPC registrar. In January 2023, the UPC presidium appointed Alexander Ramsay as its registrar. Only three months before, in November 2022, Ramsay left his role as UPC Administrative Committee chairman. He had a decisive influence on the court’s creation for 14 years.

The business was founded in 1824 by Sir Alexander Ramsay, one of the Scottish landowners who campaigned to license Scotch Whiskey distillation. He was also one of the first to apply for a licence, which he applied to Fettercairn.
