Hace 6 días · Alfred Gwynne Vanderbilt, a member of the Vanderbilt family, had indeed intended to board the Titanic. However, he canceled his ticket at the last minute and did not take the ill-fated voyage. Unfortunately, Alfred later lost his life in the sinking of the RMS Lusitania in May 1915.
