8 de may. de 2024 · Barbara Radziwiłł was a Lithuanian noble whose great beauty caught the eye of King Sigismund II Augustus in 1543. She consented to become his mistress and enjoyed four years of luxurious bliss. However, the bliss soon ended. Lady Barbara married the king in 1547 and it caused a great scandal!
16 de may. de 2024 · Barbara Radziwiłł (c.1520-1551) was Queen of Poland and Grand Duchess of Lithuania as consort of Sigismund II Augustus, the last male monarch of the Jagiellon dynasty. Barbara, a great beauty and already widowed, became a royal mistress most likely in 1543 and they married in secret in July or August 1547.

22 de may. de 2024 · They had two children, Anthony Radziwill (married Carole Ann DiFalco) and Anna Christina Radziwill (Mrs Ottavio Arancio). Later life Radziwill was one of the organisers of the Sikorski Historical Institute in London, England (see [2]) and founder of St. Anne's Church at Fawley Court, a school at Henley-on-Thames, England.

Als Junge und Jugendlicher führte er zusammen mit zwei seiner Brüder ein Skizzenbuch, in das sie gemeinsam zeichneten. Die jungen Zeichner schufen dabei auch einige Tierbilder wie das von zwei Elefanten. Ein echtes Frühwerk also!
