20 de jun. de 2024 · In 1965 the cosmic microwave background (CMB) was discovered by US-American radio astronomers Arno Allan Penzias (1933–2024) and Robert Woodrow Wilson (born 1936). It has a thermal black body spectrum at a very low temperature of about 2.7 Kelvin.
