Just over a month later – on 20th June – the baby was baptised in the Private Chapel at Windsor Castle, where she received the names Victoria Louise Sophia Augusta Amelia Helena; although she was officially known as Helena Victoria.

In 1916, officials in Ireland gave thought to giving the throne to Prince Joachim with the idea that Ireland would be safer a German King if Germany were to win World War I.
