Bernhard I, Duke of Saxe-Meiningen (Gotha, 10 September 1649 – Meiningen, 27 April 1706) was a duke of Saxe-Meiningen. He was the sixth but third surviving son of Ernst I, Duke of Saxe-Coburg-Altenburg and Elisabeth Sophie of Saxe-Altenburg.
Bernard I (c. 950 – 9 February 1011) was the Duke of Saxony between 973 and 1011, the second of the Billung dynasty, a son of Duke Herman [1] and Oda. He extended his father's power considerably. He fought the Danes in 974, 983, and 994 during their invasions. He supported the succession of Otto III over Henry the Wrangler.

Bernhard I. (* um 950; † 9. Februar 1011 in Corvey) aus der Familie der Billunger war von 973 bis zu seinem Tod Herzog in Sachsen. Die Quedlinburger Annalen bezeichnen ihn im Jahr 1011 als „Zweiten hinter dem König“ (secundus a rege). Bernhard I. war als ältester Sohn Hermann Billungs dessen Nachfolger.
