24 de may. de 2024 · South of the Binnenhof is the Buitenhof, a centre of the town’s activities and the site of several hotels and restaurants. The original entrance to it was the Gevangenpoort (Prisoner’s Gate), a tower and gate built about 1400. It is now a museum dedicated to the history of punishment and torture in the Netherlands.

For ages, the Binnenhof structure has served as the country’s political nerve center, and it still does today.

After you have cast your vote, take some time to learn more about this major and unique renovation, admire the archaeological finds or learn about the history of the 13th-century complex.
