La primera en 1812 cuando los poderes públicos del Gobierno provisional se trasladaron a Valencia durante la Guerra de Independencia de Venezuela. Luego en 1830 con la disolución de la Gran Colombia y por último, en 1858 cuando triunfó la Revolución de Marzo.
