9 de may. de 2024 · When Sir Robert Walpole 1st Earl of Orford, KG, KB, PC was born on 26 August 1676, in Houghton Hall, Norfolk, England, his father, Colonel Robert Walpole, was 25 and his mother, Mary Burwell, was 22. He married Lady Catherine Shorter Of Bybrook on 19 May 1698, in London, England, United Kingdom.
Hace 2 días · By his third wife Charlotte, daughter of John Shorter, Esq., and sister to Catherine, Lady Walpole, he had Francis, the late Marquis of Hertford, who was born at Chelsea in 1718. Lord Conway died in Ireland in 1732." It may be remembered that Walpole came to live in Chelsea in 1721.
