Hace 4 días · In 1505 Henry VII granted a new charter in extension and development to God's House, naming the Lady Margaret Beaufort Foundress, who undertook to complete and establish it, changing the name to Christ's College.

(fn. 2) God's-house first stood in Milne Street, of which the north and south ends still exist as Trinity Hall Lane and Queens' Lane.
