Hace 3 días · Mary, Queen of Scots (8 December 1542 – 8 February 1587), also known as Mary Stuart [3] or Mary I of Scotland, [4] was Queen of Scotland from 14 December 1542 until her forced abdication in 1567. The only surviving legitimate child of James V of Scotland, Mary was six days old when her father died and she inherited the throne.

10 de may. de 2024 · Walter FitzAlan ( c.1090 – 1177) was a twelfth-century Anglo-Norman baron who became a Scottish magnate and Steward of Scotland. [note 1] He was a younger son of Alan fitz Flaad and Avelina de Hesdin. In about 1136, Walter entered into the service of David I, King of Scotland.

[1] He was the third son of a Breton knight, Alan fitzFlaad, feudal lord of Oswestry, by his spouse Aveline, daughter of Ernoulf de Hesdin.
