Hace 4 días · Wanstead House was completely rebuilt by Sir Richard Child to the design of Colen Campbell between 1715 and 1722. It was 'the archetype of the Palladian great house'. The exterior, rectangular and cased in Portland stone, was some 260 ft. long and 75 ft. deep.
