Daniel, 8th Earl of Winchilsea and 3rd Earl of Nottingham, succeeded to the earldoms in 1730. He held the office of first lord of the admiralty twice, in 1742–4 and 1757. He died in 1769.
Hace 5 días · In 1677 Henry Stafford and Anne Dawes, widow, conveyed the manor to Daniel Finch, who in 1682 succeeded his father Heneage Finch as second Earl of Nottingham, and became seventh Earl of Winchilsea in 1729.
