6 de may. de 2024 · Lu distinguishes between the wisdom obtained by xuanjian (the metaphysical mirror), which reveals the universal principles of Nature and the innate conscience, and the prudential wisdom of zhizhi (Knowing boundaries), which guides the moral conduct and self-cultivation.
Hace 4 días · Gottfried Wilhelm Leibniz (1646–1716) introduced the concept of possible worlds and articulated a metaphysical system, known as monadology, that understands the universe as a collection of simple substances that are synchronized without causally interacting with one another.

Leibniz dated his beginning as a philosopher to his Discourse on Metaphysics, which he composed in 1686 as a commentary on a running dispute between Nicolas Malebranche and Antoine Arnauld.
