The fact that he co-wrote this with Carol Bayer Sager is rather interesting considering her track record consists as writer of such numbers as "A Groovy Kind of Love" and co-writer to the theme from "Arthur" (Dudley Moore).

This is surely the worst Dylan album released to date, and I didn't think anything could get worse (immediately that is, before his voice completely went) than Empire Burlesque.

I find that if I think of KOL and DITG Bob Dylan as a guy who just happens to share a name with the guy who did Visions of Johanna, it all clicks a little better. You Wanna Ramble is like a track that a middling band in LA would put out in the 80s. It's solidly ok.
