21 de may. de 2024 · Once known as "Papa Dada," Francis Picabia was one of the principle figures of the Dada movement both in Paris and New York. A friend and associate of Marcel Duchamp, he became known for a rich variety of work ranging from strange, comic-erotic images of machine parts to text-based paintings that foreshadow aspects of Conceptual art.

It paved the way for later avant-garde movements, such as Surrealism and Conceptual Art, and its influence can still be seen in various artistic disciplines, from literature and poetry to film and even (or especially) performance art.

19 de may. de 2024 · The exhibition tells the story of the legendary décor of the Paris flat of art dealer and gallery owner Léonce Rosenberg. Rosenberg wanted to associate his name with late Cubism mixed with figuration, the path opened up by Picasso, an artist he admired and accompanied during the war and the 1920s.
