Hace 3 días · This was George Henry Lee, 2nd Earl of Lichfield, the son of the 1st Earl by Charlotte, the natural daughter of King Charles II. Edward Harrison, who succeeded Lord Lichfield at No. 14, had been the Governor of Fort St. George. He was afterwards appointed Postmaster-General. He died in 1732.

Reform rendered the Anson property in Lichfield useless for electoral purposes, and the earl of Lichfield started selling off his burgages in 1882.

The smiths' company was recorded in 1601, with a wide range of craftsmen. The range increased in the 17th century, and in 1648 the company had 95 members.
