14 de may. de 2024 · Their younger sister, Marjorie, would also marry into the English nobility in 1235, becoming the wife of Gilbert Marshal, 3rd son of the famed William Marshal who had become Earl of Pembroke the previous year. Marjorie died in 1244, Isabella in 1253 and Margaret, the eldest, in 1259.

He defeated a French-supported rebellion in September 1217.
