Hace 3 días · Although the king had authorised Henry de Hastings in 1242 to take tallage from his men of Brampton, they refused in 1243 to be tallaged and raised hue and cry on the bailiffs of the sheriff who had been called upon to assist the bailiffs of Henry de Hastings, and drove them to Huntingdon.

He was married on January 15, 1601 to Elizabeth Stanley, they had 5 children. He died on November 14, 1643 in Ashby De La Zouche, Leics.

    Hace 5 días · David, earl of Huntingdon, was the youngest son of Earl Henry (d.1152), son of David I of Scotland (d.1153), and of Ada de Warenne (d.1178). He was the brother of Kings Malcolm IV (d.1165) and William I (d.1214) of Scotland and had three sisters, Margaret, Ada and Maud.
