Ironically, his only surviving son William Ætheling died in the sinking of the White Ship leaving Henry with only one legitimate child, his daughter Matilda.
16 de may. de 2024 · In 1729 and 1730 the house was occupied by Henry Scott, first Earl of Deloraine, son of James Scott, Duke of Monmouth. Deloraine died on 25 December 1730. He was succeeded by David Middleton, 1732–7, and he in turn in 1738 by John Hickford. Since 1696 the Hickford family had managed a dancing school in Panton Street.
