When, after the Napoleonic Wars , Norway was in personal union with Sweden, the title included King of Norway , in older Swedish spellings: Sweriges, Norriges, Göthes och Wendes Konung .

Totalt kunde det svenska riket i början av 1700 mönstra omkring 77 000 soldater, där merparten skulle försvara rikets gränser medan en fjärdedel skulle ingå i Karl XII:s huvudarmé.
