When looking at the summer 2007 box office, I was pretty surprised at Chuck and Larry's 3.5 multiplier as usually a bigger film that's also a comedy weakens the legs of the smaller comedy, and the audience of a Simpsons Movie and an Adam Sandler movie have quite an overlap not to mention Simpsons was an event with much better reviews.
