19 de may. de 2024 · He was never meant to be king. His elder brother Robert died in infancy and the declared heir to the throne, David, Duke of Rothesay, met a mysterious end – most probably murdered while imprisoned at Falkland in 1402 by the aforesaid Duke of Albany.
22 de may. de 2024 · Charles's eldest son, the Duke of Monmouth, led a rebellion against James II, but was defeated at the Battle of Sedgemoor on 6 July 1685, captured and executed.
