Rev. James G. Lonsdale. He was the Rev. James Gylby Lonsdale (1816–1892), eldest son of John Lonsdale, bishop of Lichfield. From 1865 to 1870 was professor of classical literature at King's College, London. Rector of South Luffenham, Somerset (1870–73) and Huntspill, Somerset (1873–78). He died at Bath. No. 27.
