2 de may. de 2024 · This Francis was created Earl of Derwentwater in 1688. He was succeeded by his son Edward in 1697, and from Edward the manor descended to the unfortunate James, third earl, in 1705. Ten years later the earl was marching into Lancashire at the head of a Jacobite army.
