23 de may. de 2024 · Unlike other institutions of Cambridge University, Jesus College was founded outside the city, on the grounds of an old Benedictine convent. With their five hundred years of history, these buildings form the core of the college, which has grown around the chapel and the cloister.

Hace 3 días · The College of the Blessed Virgin Mary, St. John the Evangelist, and the glorious Virgin St. Radegund, commonly called Jesus College, was founded in 1496 by John Alcock, Bishop of Ely, upon the site of the dissolved Priory of St. Radegund, and endowed with its property.
