Hace 3 días · The Borlases of Bockmer and Danvers in Little-Marlow, whose descendant was created a baronet in 1642, and was ancestor of Admiral Sir John Borlase Warren, K.B., were descended from Edward, the second son of Walter Borlase, who married the heiress of Treluddra.
24 de may. de 2024 · By 1754 the manor had descended to his son John Borlase Warren, who died in 1763, leaving Marlow to his son Admiral John Borlase Warren, who represented the borough in Parliament 1774–84 and was made a baronet in 1775.
Hace 5 días · The barton of Tremogh was in ancient times the seat of a family of that name, from whom it passed, by a female heir, to that of Blois of Penryn. It was sold by the latter, in 1703, to John Worth, Esq., (sheriff of the county in 1712,) who inclosed a park, and built a large mansion, now converted into a farm-house.
