22 de may. de 2024 · In 1618 Sir John Pakington obtained licence to impark 1,000 acres at Westwood, Hampton Lovett and other surrounding parishes, and he impaled two great parks called Westwood Parks and stocked the one with red deer and the other with fallow deer.

Hace 5 días · It was sold in 1544 with Hampton Lovett by George Cornwall to John Pakington as land at Haggett's Broughton. In 1571 the estate is called the manor of Haggett's Broughton, and it evidently followed the descent of Hampton Lovett until 1808–9, when Sir John Pakington sold it to Samuel Brampton.

Thomas Coventry, 5th baron (died 1699), was created Earl of Coventry in 1697 with a special limitation, on the failure of his own male issue, to that of Walter, youngest brother of the lord keeper, from whom the present earl of Coventry is descended.
