After her mother’s death when she was young, Catherine was raised by her step-grandmother, the Dowager Duchess of Norfolk. Catherine caught the eye of King Henry VIII while serving as a lady-in-waiting to Queen Anne of Cleves.
6 de jun. de 2024 · Thomas Culpeper was sentenced to death for his involvement with Catherine. Although managed to persuade Henry to have him beheaded rather than hung, drawn, and quartered. He was beheaded at Tyburn Gallows in 1541.
