General Lord George Henry Lennox (29 November 1737 – 25 March 1805) was a British Army officer and politician who sat in the House of Commons from 1761 to 1790.
Lieutenant-General Sir George Charles Gordon-Lennox KBE CB CVO DSO (29 May 1908 – 11 May 1988) was a senior British Army officer who served during the Second World War. Military career. Gordon-Lennox was the eldest child of Lord Bernard Gordon-Lennox and a grandson of the 7th Duke of Richmond.
General Lord George Henry Lennox (29 November 1737 – 25 March 1805) was the second son of Charles Lennox, 2nd Duke of Richmond, and was thus descended from King Charles II of England. He was a brother of the famous Lennox sisters.
Duke of Lennox. The title Duke of Lennox has been created several times in the peerage of Scotland, for Clan Stewart of Darnley. The dukedom, named for the district of Lennox in Dumbarton, was first created in 1581, and had formerly been the Earldom of Lennox.
20 de may. de 2018 · Gordon was 3rd son of George, Lord Haddo, by Charlotte, youngest daughter of Wm. Baird, of Newbyth. He had served as A.D.C. to his uncle, Sir David Baird, at the capture of the Cape of Good Hope and in several subsequent campaigns.
