Conform unui raport al Directiei Generale a Politiei, datat 29 iunie 1935, ea s-a nascut la Iasi pe 16 septembrie 1896 (desi, din cochetarie feminina, ea a incercat sa acrediteze si versiunile "1899” sau "1902”).
