10 de may. de 2024 · Adolf Frederick was the king of Sweden from 1751 to 1771. He was the son of Christian Augustus, Duke of Schleswig-Holstein-Gottorp, and of Albertina Frederica of Baden-Durlach. While Adolf Frederick was bishop of Lübeck (1727–50), he administered Holstein-Kiel (1739–45) during the minority of Duke.

The latter tiara was later left to Mary’s aunt, Augusta, Grand Duchess of Mecklenburg-Strelitz, who left it to her granddaughter, Duchess Jutta of Mecklenburg-Strelitz.
