Welsh courtier Owen Tudor, who was born before 1400, married Catherine of Valois twice after her first husband, King Henry V of England, passed away in 1422.

  5. 3 de may. de 2024 · Llywelyn ap Maredudd, killed in battle at the Clun valley in 1263, was a grandson of Llywelyn Fawr (the Great). He was also lord of Meirionydd in North Wales, and in 1241 swore homage for his land to Henry III. This was insurance, to protect Meirionydd from Gwynedd.

The eldest, Madog, was destined to play a major role in the Welsh wars of Edward I. As I have described, their father was slain in a battle in the valley of the Clun in April 1263.
