Hace 4 días · Lady Margaret Beaufort was the daughter of John Beaufort, Duke of Somerset. Somerset was the son of John of Gaunt, son of King Edward III, and his mistress Katherine Swynford. Gaunt later married Swynford and their children were made legitimate. Margaret’s mother was Margaret Beauchamp, Duchess of Somerset.

Según parece, Margarita Beaufort había conocido al P. Fisher siete años antes, cuando éste había ido a la corte que se hallaba en Greenwich para arreglar algunos asuntos de la Universidad.
