Hace 4 días · Baldwin, the seventh Earl, was, in 1240, created Earl of the Isle of Wight; his son Baldwin, the last Earl of the family, and the fifth of that Christian name, dying without issue, his sister, Isabel de Fortibus, who had married William de Fortibus, Earl of Albemarle, became Countess of Devon in her own right. She died without issue, in 1292.
