13 de jun. de 2024 · Pembroke College, Oxford, has unveiled a memorial in honour of Tolkien. J.R.R. Tolkien was the Rawlinson and Bosworth Professor of Anglo-Saxon at Pembroke College, 1925–45. It was during this time that he wrote The Hobbit and much of The Lord of the Rings.

This book was recommended to me, and although I’d never heard of it at the time, since reading it, I’ve seen several other references both to it, and to the concept of ikigai, which the book seeks to illuminate.
