23 de may. de 2024 · Hohenzollern Castle, near Hechingen, was built in the mid-19th century by Frederick William IV of Prussia on the remains of the castle founded in the early 11th century. Alpirsbach Abbey, founded by the Hohenzollerns in 1095. Zollern, from 1218 Hohenzollern, was a county of the Holy Roman Empire.

He was born sometime between 11 and 12 p.m. on 24 January 1712 in the Berlin Palace and was baptised with the single name Friedrich by Benjamin Ursinus von Bär on 31 January.

Despite this, the Prussian kings still included the title "Margrave of Brandenburg" in their royal style.

Upon Wilhelm's death at the age of ninety on 9 March 1888, the thrones passed to Frederick, who had been German Crown Prince for seventeen years and Crown Prince of Prussia for twenty-seven years.
24 de may. de 2024 · George married his cousin Sophia Dorothea of Celle in 1682, but in 1694, accusing her of infidelity, he divorced her and imprisoned her in the castle of Ahlden, where she died 32 years later. He succeeded his father as elector of Hanover in 1698.
