15 de may. de 2024 · Physician and statesman Rashid al-Din Hamadani had served as vizier for both Ghazan and Öljaitü, and was accused of having caused his death by poisoning. He was executed in 1318, but fortunately his Jāmiʿ al-Tawārīkh (Compendium of Chronicles) survived to provide a concise history of the Mongols.
