Hace 2 días · Hervey's grant was confirmed and enlarged by his nephew and heir Richard FitzGilbert of Clare, earl of Pembroke (d. 1176). Several other manors formerly belonging to Ranulf brother of Ilger passed in the 12th century to the Clares and their kinsmen the FitzWalters.
