Hace 6 días · Robert (II) de Bruce (Brus) was the second son of Robert (I) (d.1142), lord of Annandale, and his wife, Agnes, probable daughter of Geoffrey Bainard, sheriff of York. Upon his father's death, he inherited Annandale and Hartness in Durham.
11 de may. de 2024 · 11 May 1141: The death at Skelton Castle, Yorkshire of Anglo-Norman magnate Robert de Brus, 1st Lord of Annandale. He was the first of the Bruce dynasty to hold lands in Scotland after he was granted the Lordship of Annandale by David I of Scotland in 1124.
