Lady Rose avait épousé William Leveson-Gower, 4e comte de Granville, gouverneur de l’Irlande du Nord. Le jardin déborde de mixed-borders fleuris de vivaces, de roses et de plantes grimpantes.

Hace 3 días · In 1900, Knight was originally employed to look after a one-month-old Elizabeth Bowes-Lyon – who later became the Queen Mother – and remained as her nanny until she was 11 years old. In 1926, Bowes-Lyon (who was, by then, the Duchess of York ) brought Knight in to look after Elizabeth, her youngest daughter.
