16 de may. de 2024 · To me, it was always called Rhinebeck. As to its origin, my great-uncle Vincent Astor, Alice’s brother, deeded over the property as a wedding present to Alice and my grandfather, Serge Obolensky. The estate was part of Ferncliff, the 2,800-acre Astor property.

For a few years after 1917 it was the home of Prince Serge Obolensky and his family.
